Baltimore Sun: Trump calls Baltimore ‘disgusting … rodent infested mess,’ rips Rep. Elijah Cummings over border criticism
After President Donald Trump attacked U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland on Saturday as a “brutal bully” and called his 7th District “disgusting, rat and rodent infested,” officials, residents and political commentators jumped to the defense of the congressman and his Baltimore home.
Some folks are arguing over whether or not this is racist. Let me settle the argument: Yes, it’s racist. Because it’s Trump, and Trump’s a racist.
And I know that sounds glib, but it’s not. The reason we know this is a racist attack is because Trump has a well-established and documented history of racism. He attacked Rep. Elijah Cummings because Cummings is a black man who has the audacity to criticize and stand up to Trump. He attacked Baltimore because it’s Cummings’ district and also because Baltimore has a large black population, which, in Trump’s mind, means it’s a terrible place. Because he’s racist.

Insider.com: We hired the author of ‘Black Hawk Down’ and an illustrator from ‘Archer’ to adapt the Mueller report so you’ll actually read it
The Insider commissioned Mark Bowder, author of Black Hawk Down, and Chad Hurd, art director of the cartoon, Archer, to produce an abridged, narrative-style version of the Mueller Report, complete with illustrations.
Look, if you haven’t been able to read the Mueller Report, I’m not going to shame you for that. I bought a copy for my Kindle from Amazon, and guys, that sucker is dense. I am an excellent and experienced reader of dense tomes, and I’ve barely made any headway plowing through this damn thing. So I’m certainly not going to crap on anyone else for having trouble with it.
The insider version is still a long read, but far, far less than 400+ pages, and also written in a narrative style, which makes it hella easier to read. Plus, awesome little cartoons by a guy who works on Archer. Check it out.

This one’s a long read detailing how the United Arab Emirates launched a cyber intelligence team made up of American contractors. It’s a fascinating read.
Hey, so remember how last week BuzzFeed News published a big bombshell article, and then the spokesperson for the Mueller investigation was all, “That’s not completely accurate,” and the rest of the media, all the rightwingers, and half of the left spent the week dunking on BuzzFeed?
BuzzFeed’s got some receipts and they’re publishing.
