I am exhausted after four years of Trump and the GOP. Exhausted, possibly traumatized, definitely disillusioned. After four long, miserable years of the incessant lies, painful incompetence, malicious sociopathy, and gleeful attacks on democracy, I just want to crawl under my bed and never come out again. Biden’s First Steps

Here’s a quick look at what Biden’s been up to in the first day and a half of his administration.

For the past 4-5 years, I woke up every morning and immediately grabbed my phone to see what had blown up overnight thanks to Trump’s incompetency. I didn’t have to do that this morning, and I gotta tell you, that was pretty goddamn amazing. It’s been nice the last couple of weeks, waking up in the morning and not having to dread what that fool crapped out on Twitter overnight.

Let’s keep that up. Trump should be left, sullen and silenced, to rot into irrelevance in Florida. I don’t know if we’ll actually get that privilege. I’m not sure if the media is capable of ignoring Trump. I hope they are. Continue reading “Biden’s First Steps”

Trump instigated an attempted coup.

On January 6, 2021, Donald Trump, the sitting president of the United States, instigated an attempted coup.

Hundreds of QAnon conspiracy theorists and MAGA cultists stormed the United States Capitol Building on Jan. 6, 2021. Congresspeople had to be evacuated. The insurrectionists damaged and stole property, took selfies with each other and the cops, and posted their crimes all over social media.
