The jury came back and found Trump liable for sexually abusing and defaming E. Jean Carroll. She was awarded five million for both. It seems like the jury had the option to find Trump liable for rape, but didn’t? It’s a little bit unclear. I don’t think anyone had said yet why the jury found he was liable for sexual abuse, but not rape.
