My phone, a Samsung S8, died over the weekend, so I had to rather quickly choose and get a new phone. Fortunately I’d looked over new phones several months ago, so I had a rough idea of what was available in my price range. I grabbed a Google Pixel 6A, which is roughly comparable to my Samsung. I’ve been interested in trying out a Pixel for awhile, so we’ll see how this goes. It should be here tomorrow.
I do have to mention – that S8 was a hell of a phone. Had that thing for like 5 years and it was still going strong enough that I argued with myself for awhile over whether or not to just get it repaired, before finally opting for a new phone.
