I didn’t see Deep Space 9 when it was first on TV, and I never bothered catching up with it because the little bit of it I had caught here and there didn’t seem very interesting. But, since the pandemic meant a dearth of new TV and absolute piles of free time, and the show’s streaming on Netflix, we’ve been watching it.
I tweeted about how I was enjoying the show and the differences between it and The Next Generation, and one of the DS9 writers retweeted me.
I’m pretty sure the only reason I even still bother with Twitter is the occasional fun interaction like this.
