They’re coming for your schools, folks. I mean, they always have been – this is a standard play for the right wing. But please pay attention to your school boards and local offices.
You guys need to read this Twitter thread and this ProPublica article and then start getting involved in your local elections and school boards.
The solution, [Steve Bannon] announced, was to seize control of the GOP from the bottom up. Listeners should flood into the lowest rung of the party structure: the precincts. “It’s going to be a fight, but this is a fight that must be won, we don’t have an option,” Bannon said on his show in May. “We’re going to take this back village by village … precinct by precinct.”
