Honestly, I enjoyed the hell out of this movie. Kate McKinnon and Chris Hemsworth, in particular, were hilarious. I don’t think that Ghostbusters 2016 was as strong as the original Ghostbusters movie, but seriously, the original sets the bar pretty goddamn high. Even its own sequel couldn’t make that jump.
But I have no complaints about Ghostbusters 2016. It was funny and fun. It clearly loved its source material and did a good job of honoring it. I’d happily take a sequel just to see more of McKinnon and Hemsworth.
