He fails at everything.

This is what I’ve found utterly baffling about Trump and the GOP response this whole time. They could have locked in Republican rule for at least four more years. They could have been heroes. How do you fail this hard?

The thing of it is, if he'd pressured his party to do everything the Democrats are asking and then some, he'd be cruising towards re-election now. This virus could have been the crisis that saved his administration and rewrote his place in the history books.
